If the chemicals in use at your facility are not water soluble, soap and water wash up will not be effective for removing those compounds from the skin. D-TAM™ Skin Cleanser is specially formulated to remove lipophilic compounds.
D-TAM™ contains no degreasers (limonene) or abrasives (pumice) that can damage the natural protective barrier properties of the skin. Formulated with high molecular weight ingredients (>400), D-TAM™ minimizes the penetration of toxic compounds into the skin.
D-TAM™ can also be used as a waterless cleanser. Apply it to dry skin, rub briskly to form lather and wipe off the excess with a paper towel. A final lathering with D-TAM™ followed by a warm water rinse at break time or end of shift will remove lipophilic compounds and leave the skin truly clean.
